Celebrating the Diamond Jubilee on PhotoPeach
On Thursday Martin Kiszko will be entertaining year five with his special brand of poetry. Then we will all write our own poems, with Martin’s help.
All the children can now do our homework on Education city by logging in with their personal details. All the children got a little identity card so they can now log in at home. Teachers can still check how children are doing and anyone with internet issues can log on at lunchtime instead. What a fun way to do homework!

Don’t forget that your homework this week is to find a poem you like and learn it off by heart so you can tell it to the class by the end of the week.
A good website to try to find a poem is www.poetry4kids.com. The poet Ken Nesbitt is very funny and his poems are easy to learn. Also try www.gigglepoetry.com for loads of ideas. I’m looking forward to hearing all your great poems.
